Programs SALCIANU Gymnastics Competitive Team Training Center at the Academy Levels 4 –10 (ages 6 & up) This program is designed to meet the needs of the competitive gymnast. Specific U.S. Gymnastics Association routines are taught. Introduction to optional skills on all apparatus will be initiated and mastered. Gymnasts participate in competitions and exhibitions.  * Dance tuition included for All Levels. Participation by Invitation. Sorin Salcianu Owner/Academy Coordinator Gymnastics Head Coach Tammy Salcianu Owner/Gymnastics Program Director Choreographer Sorin is a former Olympic Team Member for Romania (1985-1988). He holds a degree from the National Academy of Physical Education & Sports, Bucharest. Sorin was a performer in the High Bar/Trapeze Act of Cirque du Soleil’s “Mystere” show at Treasure Island for seven years. He was selected to coach both the US and Canadian teams for the Maccabia Games held in Israel during the summer of 2001. His certifications include USAG/Safety, CPR and First Aid. Tammy has been with Sports Club/Las Vegas for 11 years. She is USAG Level Skill Evaluator Certified, USAG Coaches and Safety Certified, CPR/First Aid Certified as well as Meet Director Certified. Included in her 19 years of gymnastics experience Tammy has held positions as Assistant Coach for the University of Idaho Continuing Education Gymnastics Program, Head Coach/Coordinator for Moscow, Idaho Parks and Recreation, Henderson Aerials Gymnastics Team coach and Head Coach/Coordinator for Boulder City, Silver Springs, Black Mountain and Whitney Ranch Parks and Recreation. Junior Olympics Competitive Gymnastics Program With instructor approval. Junior Olympics Competitive Gymnastics Program is designed for those children who have demonstrated a talent for and interest in competitive gymnastics. The aim is to develop the special skills and mental attitude needed for competition level gymnastics. If enrolled in this program they will develop motor skills and body awareness.
